The tunes and melodies of distant ancestors were reflected in his new work by the popular Adyghe author, composer and performer Betal Ivanov. The penetrating lines were written by his father - Vladimir Ivanov
“I am glad to present you one of the significant songs of my new album, which is ready to be released,” Betal shares, “the song “Adezh mek'ame” reflects my vision of early music.
When I hear the music that our ancestors left, my soul rejoices. When I hear ancient instruments being played, images of elders appear before me. And the one who does not appreciate this wealth has lost the past ... I was born on the Adyghe land, and I will carry these melodies, these melodies through the years! Happy listening, friends!
