The premiere of the song "Kyogalany jyry" ("Kyogaly's song"), performed in the Karachai-Balkar language, was presented Albina Tokova... The composition, performed in the manner of a traditional song - narration, was written by the poet Azamat Suyunchev and the composer Majid Nogailiyev.
“The song“ Kegala ”was written by Alim Gazaev and Ruslan Musukaev, as a duet for a girl and a guy. The text also contains phrases from a male face, but considering that I sang it alone, I performed only the female part, without a male response to it. This was a common idea with Timur Kitov, who volunteered to arrange for me. Considering that Timur loves folklore, everything turned out perfectly for him. Literally within a few days, I already had a blank arrangement - "fish", so to speak. I recorded the voice from Zaur Krymshamkhalov, who is also a very talented arranger, and this is such a wonderful composition.
I love this kind of folklore songs very much, and I sing them with pleasure! I have a task to give a new breath to old favorite songs, so that our younger generation, with their new perception, can easily listen to such beautiful old songs, ”shared Albina.
