My grandmother, unfortunately, is no longer alive, but I always wanted to dedicate a song to her. For a long time I didn’t succeed, either I didn’t like the poems or the music. And so, when I read the poems of my respected elder, our outstanding songwriter Anatoly Gagloev, I composed the melody myself. I asked my beloved, People's Artist Bella Zoloeva, to accompany me. This is how this sad, but very dear song to my family was born.”
