“Once, having read Sakinat Musukaeva's wonderful poem about the national symbol of my people, I decided to sing my Balkar flag,” says Eldar, “I wrote music to beautiful poems, and this is how the song appeared.
The song talks about the significance of the flag, its color scheme and what each color means. Our flag is a light blue cloth with two white horizontal stripes and a stylized silhouette of Mount Elbrus. Light blue color symbolizes the Turkic family of peoples, white color - purity, heavenly and earthly path of my people. The two-headed Elbrus symbolizes the unity of the Karachai-Balkarian people, as well as eternity
What do I want to say to my listeners? The flag of each nation carries its history, and each of us should know the history of our ancestors. I am proud of our flag, and therefore I will glorify and sing the symbols of my people. Let the Balkar flag always flutter proudly in the heights of Elbrus, catching only the favorable wind of great and good changes! "
