“Sytkher si amal” is a sad song with its own history,” says the author of the project, “many who have heard this melody believe that it is a folk song. But in fact, the song was written by my own aunt Nina and my father.
Once upon a time, Nina, while still a young girl, gave her heart to a guy who also loved her, but, unfortunately, the vicissitudes of life of that time did not allow them to be together, and she wrote this text in sadness and despair.
After many years, Dzhabrail Kubatievich processed it, and this girl's song was born. Somehow Evgenia Saenko. she confessed to me that she really likes one song, and it turned out to be “Sitkher si amal”, and the idea of the project immediately came up.
Zhenya stubbornly and for a long time rehearsed both the text in Kabardian and the melody itself. In my opinion, she succeeded brilliantly, in her own way and sincerely…”, shared Anzor Khaupa.
