Artists of the Kavkaz Music label - Alla Boychenko и Ramie daroka never cease to delight the audience with their creativity and decided to release a new video for everyone's favorite composition "Gandagana".
The release of the track and video "Gandagana" took place on September 19, 2019 and almost immediately hit the TOPs of the label. In the first videofilmed within the framework of the Kavkaz Music project "Dances of the Peoples of the Caucasus", the team reflected the traditional image of dance, recognizable and loved by many. The new video released today is the debut work of the creative tandem of Rami Darok and the studio of Islam Kokoev. It reflects a modern perspective on canon dance, helps to go beyond the traditional, while maintaining its charm.
The film crew worked on the implementation of the plan: Rami Daroka - composer and director of the video, Alla Boychenko - vocalist, Islam Kokoev and his Kokoev Studio team, Dmitry Kachlaev - doulist and head of the Rhythms of the Caucasus ensemble, dancers - Diana Shavlokhova and Kambol Kambolov.

Ramie daroka
It all started with a chance meeting with Alla Boychenko. We had different numbers, we performed on the same program. I approached her and offered to shoot a video for our joint project "Gandagana". We already had a very good video for it, it was filmed in the traditional manner, but we can make a more "free" version, not squeezed into the framework of the dance tradition. And in just a couple of minutes, we came up with several ideas. I called Kavkaz Music - Daguzhiev Jamal, told about our idea and he immediately agreed to support us. The guys from the project gave us freedom of action so that we could fully realize what we started. It is very gratifying when the label trusts the artists, especially in moments of inspiration when this impulse is especially in need of support. Jamal constantly supported us, accompanied the work, helped and suggested.
I decided to involve my friend Islam Kokoev in the work. It was necessary to shoot urgently, since Alla flew to Moscow in two days and we need to have time to shoot. He was shocked because he didn't even have time to get to know the material or prepare the script. I took on this role, because I know this melody to the last note, I know the canons of this dance well, and with Alla we already have our own vision.
Literally over the evening, I contacted the dancers who agreed to our "adventure". The next day they came to us in Nalchik from Vladikavkaz. We ran the dance a few times, the guys instantly felt our mood, and the work went smoothly.
Roughly speaking, it took us only one day to prepare for filming! On the set, we only had problems with the light, it had to be installed and changed frequently. The rest of the work went like clockwork. Islam and his team did not take a minute to rest, as did all the participants. It's good when all the people involved in the work are professionals, so we understood each other perfectly, Islam perfectly reflected what I had planned. I am very pleased with the result, we filmed in a limited time, but everything turned out great! We didn't just waste a minute of the shooting day. Everything went as if we had been preparing for a couple of weeks, not a day!
I felt a certain responsibility to the team, to the label, but we did it and worked as a single mechanism! We all spent this time with great pleasure! I can say with confidence that every participant in the filming spent this time with great pleasure, and this was reflected in every shot. I hope our viewers will feel it. We all worked for the result!
Separately, I would like to note the professionalism of the dancers, I specially invited them because I knew the level of their skill. Diana and Kumball were able to convey the atmosphere and spirit of the dance, the structure of movements, history. They were able to keep the canon image and give it a fresh look.
And Alla never ceases to amaze me with her talent! She is not just a singer, she is a real professional artist and every time she opens up for me from a new, unique side!
Also, I would like to note the professionalism of Islam Kokoev's team - Kokoev Studio. The guys came to the site first, and left the last, not being distracted even once for rest, or even for a snack.
And, of course, OneLight studio, which "tolerated" us until late at night and helped us in everything.
Of course, you should always strive for the best. It is perfectionism that drives the development of many, in particular mine. I hope this melody and our video will find the heart in the hearts of our listeners.

Honestly, we thought up the dance on the way to Nalchik. We listened to the song and came up with movements practically on the go. I liked everything: the work of the director, the work of the company itself, and in general everything went well, without any problems. We really enjoyed participating in this shoot and would love to take part again!

Talking about the filming, I must first of all note that I was pleased to work with a team of professionals represented by Alla Boychenko and Rami Darok. The video was filmed at OneLight Studio, where our whole friendly team was on the same creative wave, which helped us create such a bright and very beautiful video!
You know, this time there was not much preparation for the shooting process. But this did not prevent my team from quickly getting together and getting down to the task at hand. An example for filming in this particular format was a new trend in the production of clips, when the maximum amount of screen time is devoted not to the plot, but to the artists themselves. This technique helps bring viewers closer to the artists.
Each resident of the North Caucasus Federal District, the inhabitants of the Transcaucasus, are bright by their nature, we all need new emotions. That is why we decided to include dancers in the video, it helped us brighten it up and breathe life into the project.
As always, we quickly became friends with the artists, found a common language. It was a pleasure to work on the site! Everything that we conceived was 100% realized thanks to the common interest and striving for a common goal.

The idea of the dance came to us literally on the way to Nalchik, each of us has professional skills in choreography, so it was not difficult for us to collect the movements into sketches. Moreover, Rami's performance inspired us. I liked the work of the film crew, everything was professional and well-coordinated. We wanted to convey the beauty of this dance performance as much as possible.
