The project, which combines the melodies of many peoples of the North Caucasus, presented Marat Akayev... The "Caucasus Mountains" album unites 11 traditional mountain melodies belonging to the stylistics of different peoples of the North Caucasus.
“We live in a unique place and are surrounded by an amazing variety of cultures. Few countries and regions can boast that for hundreds of years people of different cultures have been living there side by side in the world. The composition of this album includes Kumyk, Lak, Avar, Chechen and Ingush motives. I tried to reflect the beauty and diversity of the culture of the “people of the Caucasus mountains”. I would like to wish all my listeners the preservation of this “international mood”, mutual respect and peace among the peoples of the Caucasus, ”Marat said.
