The premiere of the melody “Tlyuzhi Ali and kafe” performed by Alberta Teunikova
Written in traditional Adyghe style, the composition “Cafa Tukhuzhev Ali” has a soft, melodic sound.
“The first time I heard this kafa was several years ago,” says Albert, “it was in the archives of old records and had no name, its author and performer were also unknown.
I started looking for the original source to establish the origin of this melody. It turned out that this cafe was composed by Lyusya Tukhuzheva - the wife of the famous Kabardian theater and film actor, Honored Artist of the RSFSR Ali Tukhuzhev.
From conversations with their daughter Emma: “Dad was very fond of listening to his mother’s harmonica playing. He always jokingly asked his mother to teach him how to play. In the mornings, we woke up to the voice of dad singing favorite tunes. It would be nice if this cafe was named after the pope. "
