“The song does not have a special story,” says Karina, “Rezuan Maremukov wrote it for me.
I turned to him because I wanted to supplement my repertoire with a festive, dance song so that the guests' feet would dance. One afternoon, Rezuan called, asked to come to the studio and listen to the project, I liked it, and we started working.
The verses sing about what is happening to the jagu, the harmonica plays, couples in love dance, and the elders admire the dances and rejoice. I especially love the line that says, “Sharing joy and fun with everyone is happiness.”
The song was well received at weddings, at all celebrations where it is customary to have fun and dance.
