“The song was written as a parting word so that our Adyg people would be proud, appreciate, keep and protect their native language. It says that the language given to us at birth must be passed on from generation to generation! Zoya Mesheva dedicated this song to our native Adyghe language, she wanted the song to accompany all national holidays and, of course, be performed on the international day of the mother tongue. Zoe invited me to perform it, and I gladly agreed.
I decided to work on the arrangement with my friend, Eduard Khatukhov. After discussing some points, we started recording the song. Working with Edward is always a holiday for the soul! He is a truly creative, talented person, and the whole team that worked on the song are professionals in their field: accordion player Soslan Sabanov, wind instruments Radik Shidugov.
With this song I want to appeal to all peoples, to remind them of how important it is to protect your language. And of course I would like to thank the author of this song - Zoya Mesheva and my whole team! "
