“Each song is special for me,” says the performer, “but the song“ Malkarym ”is primarily associated with my people and its history. The name translates as "My Balkaria". There are events that leave wounds forever. The song was written 16 years ago by my uncle - Sozaev Zaurbek Kubatievich, then I was a teenager and sang at various concerts. And with age, I felt the atmosphere of the song even more. The words seem simple at first glance, but they have such depth.

Lines from the chorus:

“Oh, Malkarym! Sakla taularyngy
Etgenbiz amanat bolsada qazauat.
Oh, Malkarym! Meni taulu khalkyum
Kyiynlyk kergens dagyda yohtemse! "

And here is their translation:

“Oh, My Balkaria! Take care of your mountains!
We trust if there is war / vanity.
Oh, My Balkaria! My Balkar people!
Having gone through all the hardships, you still remain majestic! "

The talented performer and composer Islam Etcheev worked on the arrangement, he immediately understood from the first notes how to convey the atmosphere. We didn't want to overload the composition with instruments, it was important for us to preserve airiness and sincerity. The song is very patriotic and goes deep into the soul.

On the day of the premiere, I would like to say that it is very important to remember the history of your people. Many peoples of the Caucasus went through the tragic events of deportation. It is only thanks to unity that our peoples have survived these terrible years. May the Almighty protect all of us, and this will never happen again, and there will always be a peaceful sky above us! ”, Natu wished.
