Ode to love to the native land and people was performed by Oksana Khakulova

Kabardian artist Oksana Khakulova sang a song to the verses of Alim Keshokov

The composition "Si Adyghe Heku" is a dedication and glorification of everything that was dear to the heart of the poet and, of course, the singer herself.

“The song“ Si Adyge Heku ”(“ My Motherland ”) as a poem has long been widely known, - says Oksana, - I, as a performer and lover of Adygean folk songs, really wanted to sing such a meaningful song that reflects sincere feelings of patriotism.
As many people know, the author of the wonderful poem "Si Adyghe Heku" is the people's poet of Kabardino-Balkaria - the writer Alim Keshokov.
In his poems, Keshokov often sang love for his homeland, for his people and language. So in this song he writes about his feelings for his native land, about the difficult and complex fate of the people, about his thoughts and aspirations. Surprisingly figuratively and reverently, he expresses his love for his homeland. This is an example of such lines as: "if suddenly your hearth goes out, I will become a blazing fire for you." Only a real poet can express his thoughts in such a highly artistic way and inspire us to new musical works.
Together with the author, as a performer, I want to convey to our fellow tribesmen the feelings of love for their native origins, feelings of devotion to their homeland and, of course, to their people. After all, without this it is impossible to consider oneself a full-fledged and happy person, ”the performer shared.
