The touching work “Mada Zarda” (“Mother’s Heart”) was presented by the Ossetian artist Fatima Farnieva. Heartfelt poems were written by the artist herself, the music is a combination of folk motifs with the author’s view of a master of his craft - Timur Kitov.
“Finally, in 2023, I want to present you a joint work,” says Fatima, “the musical arrangement of the brilliant Timur Kitov is distinguished by skill and originality, which makes this track unique in its kind. The rhythm takes you captive, and musical notes become the key to locked emotions that we so carefully hide behind the screen of a smile and jokes.
The lyrics of the song carry deep meaning, excite the imagination and create a strong emotional impact. This song is about the power of maternal prayer, which is like an invisible shield that protects from troubles and guides you to the path of truth. About how, in the deep silence of the night, my prayer rises like a mighty wind, piercing the heavens. Tears wash every word addressed to God, begging for happiness and health for the children. Their destinies are framed by a vow of protection, and my prayer is the storm that shakes the mountains, calling forth the power of the invisible hand that builds, protects and magnifies their path."
