Rustam Shogenov presented the composition "Guflegue Wered"
The name of the premiere is translated from the Circassian language as “Joyful Song”, the track is dedicated to the wedding traditions of the Adyghe people.
“A wedding ceremony is a set of actions established by a custom or ritual,” says Rustam, “they express the everyday traditions of the people. We, the Circassians, have our own beautiful wedding ceremony, which I wanted to convey through my song. My composition is about the merger of two families who invite everyone to the holiday in order to share it with others. At a wedding, dances (dzhegu) and playing the national harmonica (adyge pshyne) are always obligatory, and I could not get around this in the song. It also sings about reverence for elders among young people. For me personally, the wedding day was the most beautiful and unforgettable in my life.
