The folk song-lament "Guashchemahue" ("Happy Princess") was performed by Aza Khuranova
A lyrical work with an ironic title (“The Happy Princess”) tells the legend of a noble girl who fell in love with two friends, both named Gotegezh. One of them - Getegezh Khirtsizhev fell in love with the bride of another - Getegezh Khirdzezhev. The latter, according to the laws of honor, could not tell his friend the truth. However, before the wedding, Hirzizhev could not resist his feelings and committed a shameful deed: he stole Gaushemakho and left with her. But one day, in his travels, Khirdzezhev overtook his former friend and took away his bride. In her song, Guachemajo experiences the shame and humiliation she endured while trying to cleanse herself by telling her story.
