December 17, 2019 at the Musical Theater in Nalchik, the first solo concert of the folk ensemble of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic “Bund” was held
The rich program of performance included 23 numbers: traditional dances of the peoples of the KBR, theatrical dance performances and the performance of invited artists. The pop stars of the republic volunteered to support the team: Natu Sozaeva, Halimat Gergokaeva, Kaisyn Kholamkhanov, Azamat Bekov, Renata Beslaneyeva, Eldar Zhanikaev, Eldar Atmurzaev, Shamil Kasheshov.
The lively and colorful concert, combining the cultures of the peoples of the CBD, did not leave anyone indifferent, those sitting in the hall and we are glad to see it again, together with the audience of Kavkaz Music. A solo program is always exciting, especially if for a significant part of the collective this appearance on the stage will be the debut. The artistic director of the ensemble, Nyurmukhammad Elekuev, told us about how the program was prepared and what results the team managed to achieve.
Tell us a little about the history of the ensemble.
Ensemble "Nasyp" was created in 2016. In a very short period of our existence, we have managed to achieve decent results for a young team. The Nasyp ensemble is a laureate of many all-Russian and international competitions.
In 2019, our ensemble was invited to Turkey at the international festival Peace Friendship Love, where it represented our country and our native republic of Kabardino-Balkaria, showed itself worthily and was immediately invited to participate in subsequent festivals. Since the guys performed well in front of an audience of forty thousand spectators!
Also, the ensemble "Bund" takes an active part in the cultural and social life of the city and the republic as a whole. A regular participant in events organized by the Ministry of Culture of the CBD. Also in 2019, the ensemble "Bund" was awarded the title of "People", for us it is a great honor and achievement.
What tasks did you set for yourself in the preparation process?
We decided to hold a concert and hold it at a high level: colorful, spectacular. Our repertoire allows us to compose diverse, vibrant programs. Also, a wide variety of costumes and a talented cast of artists contributed to the creation of such a colorful performance. In the future we plan to make the concert annual.
Our main task was to enable the dancers of the ensemble to feel the atmosphere of their own solo concert and to show guests the level and capabilities of the young collective.
How was the preparation process? What difficulties did you encounter?
The preparation process, of course, was not easy. Especially with the kids who were very worried, worried, many performed for the first time on stage. No matter how hard it is, we love this business. But as they say: “Through thorns to the stars!”
This is our first big concert. Mostly there were difficulties with missing children. Many children were sick in winter and missed classes. But this did not stop them from performing well, they are great fellows.
What numbers are included in the concert program?
Basically, the program included dances of the peoples of the KBR: "Islamey", "Kafa", "Tuz tepseu", "Abezek", "Girl's dance", new theatrical performances, etc. But in the future we plan to expand the repertoire, include dances of the peoples of the entire North Caucasus and not only.
Who acted as the director of the program?
In general, Asiyat Lokyaeva, the head of the female half of the ensemble, was involved in the organization and decoration of the concert, she is also the director of the "Girl's Dance" and pair numbers. I was involved in staging the main mass numbers.
Who participated in the organization of the concert?
In preparation for the concert - shooting, lighting, installation of the screen - I will be supported by: the Kavkaz Music label, the music publishing house "Sound-M" and the Department of Culture of the city of Nalchik.
