Rustam Zhirikov released his first EP “Ducizedofe”

First solo EP released Rustama Zhirikova Ducizedofe

The mini-album includes 3 compositions in the Circassian language: "Adyge dzhegu" ("Adygian Dance"), "Si Dahe" ("My Beautiful") and the composition that gave the name to the album - "Dykizedofe" ("Dancing").

All the songs included in the EP are distinguished by the traditional dynamism of the Circassian dance songs and talk about what can make the Circassian heart beat a hundred times faster: jagu (dancing) and love for the beauty. The album contains melodies of authorship by Amur Uspayev, Islam Shikabakhov and the artist himself. The songs are written in verses by Zarema Yelokova and Islam Shikabakhov.

On the day of the premiere, Rustam shared with us the plot of the composition “Ducizedofe” (“Dancing”):

“This song is about eternal - about love. About love for the girl whom the guy saw on Dzhegu, - says Rustam, - in the language of dance the young man is explained in the feelings of the beauty who conquered his heart. The guy appeals to all the Jagu members who have witnessed the incipient sincere feeling. He encourages them to support him in the dance. After all, dance is a language in which you can say a lot. Like a song, dance is a language of feelings. He is able to tell a whole story. And our Adyghe (Circassian) Dzhegu is unique.
“I wanted to show my listeners that pure, sincere feelings can be shown beautifully, while preserving our traditions and modesty inherent in all Caucasian peoples!”
