Patriotic dedication to the Republic of Ingushetia was presented by Alla Boychenko. The heartfelt composition is performed in the Ingush and Karachay-Balkar languages"Salam, please!"

“This is a dedication to Ingushetia, both in the first person and on behalf of the entire Karachay-Balkarian people,” says Alla, “initially, I did not plan to replicate the song and do some kind of large-scale project. I just wanted to make a gift to my good friend - Bela Umarova, she is the author of music. Once she sent me just singing to the verses of her friend Ibragim Vadelov, an Ingush poet, I liked the work, very gentle, melodic. Some time later it was Bela's birthday and I decided to prepare this song as a surprise for her. Unfortunately, the work dragged on for almost two years.

Once our blank came across to me on the phone, and I decided that the project needed to be completed. The wonderful Balkar author Yusuf Dzhappuev wrote heartfelt poems, and we recreated the arrangement together with Rami Daroka, the wonderful sound engineer Kirill Malakhov brought it to perfection with us and the gift was finally presented. But, to be honest, working on it was not easy.

For a long time there were no Ingush in my circle, except for Bela, but I need to work on the text. I am glad that by that time I was already familiar with Lema Nalgieva, the star of the Ingush stage, and she gladly responded to my request and helped in working on the text. Interestingly, we only managed to meet in Moscow.

The text of the song is very penetrating, it tells about the common fate and common tragedies of the two peoples. There are even such lines in the verses: “Together we raised virgin soil, when we were deprived of honor, we did not divide bread into“ yours ”and“ mine ”...”. It is valuable that when our elders listen to these lines, they begin to cry, the words were chosen so correctly.

Lema has become an integral part of this project, by the way, in the video for the song she is the main character, and she acts as the Republic of Ingushetia itself. It was especially pleasant for me that when Lema showed the song to her colleagues, they liked it so much that I was invited to present it on Ingush television on the occasion of the anniversary of the republic.

After I saw the reaction of the Ingush to our project, the reaction of the Karachay-Bakarians and, in principle, the listeners of the Caucasus, I realized that this project is much larger than I could imagine, it has a lot of light and that same Caucasian brotherhood. Therefore, Magomed Kumykov and I decided to shoot a video for this song.

Project "Salam, please!" interethnic, multicultural, it reflects our common past, present and future. It was a great honor for me to work with such outstanding teams: both the film crew and our “music team”. I am glad and proud that we were able to prepare and present this project to our listeners and viewers.
