Suleyman Tokkaev decided to perpetuate the memory of a man who laid down his life for the benefit of the Chechen Republic in his new song. The work written by Saikhan Israilov is dedicated to all the good that Hussein Isaev gave to his people
“This song is a dedication to the memory of Khusein Isaev,” Suleiman shares, “he worked with the late Akhmat-Khadzhi Kadyrov, the First President of the Chechen Republic, was in charge of the State Council, if I’m not mistaken. He dedicated his entire life to serving the people. He was an exceptionally literate, well-read person, a worthy son not only of the Chechen people, but of all of Russia. He was a man who devoted himself completely to the people and the public good. He died along with Akhmat-Khadji Kadyrov, they were close at the time of the explosion.
I knew him from childhood, he was my close friend, comrade. He always saw our aspirations, and tried to do everything he could for us, all the most kind and good. I respected him very much and wanted to immortalize him in poetry. The lines say that, despite the fact that our Republic is now actively developing, and everything is fine with us, we do not have enough of it. After all, everything good that was done in the Republic took place under the leadership of Akhmat-Khadzhi Kadyrov and his team. The first in which was just Khusein Isaev.
This is a man who wanted to do everything so that the people could recover from the sorrows of war, feel safe and hope for a brighter future. He lived and worked for this. By the way, he himself loved music, wrote and performed songs, of course, sad, lyrical, in those years there were few reasons for joy, but there was so much beauty and sincerity in his works.
I would like him to be remembered for real, to see what he was like and how much he did for our people. I sincerely hope that both we and our descendants will be able to keep the memory of such people and their contribution to the history of our region and country, because they deserve it!” the artist shared.
