Svetlana Tkhagalegova presented the "radiant" album "Nehu", the name of which literally translates as "Light"
The album includes 11 compositions in the Circassian language. All songs included in the project are united by the ideas of kindness, love and spiritual values. Svetlana told us a story about the song that gave the name to the album.
“Friends, I’ll tell you about a very intimate one,” Svetlana shares, “the song“ Nehu ”is special for me, for it contains a particle of me. I perceive it and position it as a reflection of my picture of the world. It would be appropriate here to apologize for the pretentiousness of my narration, but this is all my biographical story in verse and sheet music.
At the pace typical of a traditional cafe, we were able to tell a story about something very personal, about a place where goodness wins and illuminates everything around.

Yes, the task was difficult for me, because I needed to convey with restraint, but heartfelt a lot about myself, from the very depths of my consciousness and soul. And yet I found a form in which I was able to accommodate the thought that it is important to tell, and not sing, my story.
It was joyful and exciting for me. The song combines: happiness, doubt, faith, goodness, and my light, my spirituality.
