Chechen singer and songwriter Tamara Adamova presented the premiere of her new solo album "Beloved Heart"
The project included 15 compositions in the Chechen and Russian languages, most of which were written by the performer herself. Also, the authors and composers had their hand in the creation of the album: Malika Saidulaeva, Kazbek Sheripov, Medni Askhabov, Milana Dudurkaeva and Shaid Rashidov.
Tamara shared with us her driving forces in her work and told what tasks she sets for her works.
“My dear friends and connoisseurs of my work!
I hasten to please you with new tracks. I would like to bring to your attention my latest album, "Beloved Heart". The only thing I miss to please you even more with more and more new songs is the lack of time. Work on each composition requires a lot of this resource, since several people are involved in the creation of the song: the performer himself, the arranger, the musicians.
In this album I am the author of the lyrics for most of the compositions, except for a few songs written by my colleagues and one folk story. The music for two of my texts was also written by my colleagues - composers. The rest of the work was done by me with all responsibility and love for my work and the listener.
If any of my melodies, songs can evoke pleasant vibrations in your body and soul, then your ego will diminish and new forces will come for great achievements. If, after listening to the content of the song, a person seeks to correct himself and his mistakes, while not blaming others, then I consider this my victory - then the task is completed. I often hear from my listeners: “you have songs with meaning,” which means that people, in addition to a good melody, want spiritual food as well. I try to write texts that give people hope, faith, love, warmth and light.
I am very glad that music has a direct impact on our emotions. Each of us has experienced the emotional power of music, which sometimes literally takes us by the soul. We can get into a state of euphoria from fiery music, and while listening to lyric or folk songs, we can experience deep longing. Music expresses our emotions much more powerfully than words can express.
Music, apparently, is at the very foundation of my relationship with the world, and there is a deep meaning in the fact that, by plucking its heart strings, it helps me establish emotional contact with other people and with everything in general.
