The release of the Circassian folk ballad in the author’s editing Aslan Daurov, Azamata Bekova... "Istambylaklue" is a lament song of the Adyghe people, telling about the sorrows and sufferings they endured in the final period of the Caucasian War, during the forced resettlement of peoples on the road to Istanbul.
“Compositions born of the soul of the people have great power that can survive the centuries,” says Azamat, “singing this unique crying song, we pursued one goal: to preserve the memory of our ancestors in folklore.
Perhaps this was the most difficult composition in our repertoire. Not musically difficult, but emotionally. We really lived through, felt all the pain that is sung in the song, and tried to convey emotions to the listener. "In the history of the Adygs, a terrible sign, a black page that cannot be forgotten, the groan of Istambylaklue sounds over the world, a scarlet tear flows through the heart", - is sung in the song.
