Liza Akhmatova made her debut on the Kavkaz Music label with her solo album Vehash Vats Bezam Bosarg (Not Life Without Love)
The album about love for life, people and events consists of fifteen compositions in the Chechen language. The composer of most of the melodies is the performer herself, and the genre range of works will impress many. The authors of the words, in addition to Liza, were her colleagues: Zulai Khamidova, Umar-Pasha Nintsiev, Vakha Turpalkhanov, Movsar Magomadov, Khava Akhmadova and Musa Geshaev. The composer of the song “Khalkha Vala” (“Wedding”) is Salambek Taysumov.
“I am glad that our acquaintance with the listeners of Kavkaz Music will begin with this project,” the artist shares, “and I think it’s worth getting to know each other. I am the first singer in the history of the Chechen-Ingush people working in the genre of pop-rock music, also a professional artist and musician. After graduating from the pop-jazz studio in Almaty in the vocal class, and having studied at the theater institute, I actively began to develop in creativity, more than once became the winner and prize-winner of many all-Russian and international competitions.
Each song is a piece of life! And our life is built on love! Love for a loved one, maternal love and love for the Fatherland! The album is called "Bezam botsurg vehash vats" in translation from the Chechen language: "There is no life without love." Each song has its own genre and arrangement!
You will hear a dance lezginka, and a song in the genre of folk, pop fusion, and folk rock, and even blues! I always liked the fusion of different genres in the arrangements of the blues track “Shiyla Buysa”, this is an author's experiment, I wanted to hear how the Chechen language sounds in this genre. Since we are used to listening to blues only in English. These are my own arrangement ideas!
My voice is my instrument and I have the right to use it in different genres! I don't like monotony! I am extremely happy that such arrangers and such great musicians as Yuri Kasparyan from the rock group "KINO", Evgeny Oleshev - a musician from the team of Maxim Leonidovna, the group "Secret", arrangers Amur Uspaev and Zhenya Zhemchugov helped me to bring my ideas to life. The new songs “Happiness”, “Sihjella Zama”, “If you leave”, “Miss you”, “I don’t need a dowry”, “Goryanochka”, were written by different authors of the words, but they are brought together by the themes of love and happiness. This is what a person always lacks.
We are constantly in search of happiness! My melodies come out of my heart, the song “Vai michakhi hillate”, this is a lyrical note, about thinking about the time of life! The poet Movsar Magomadov helped me express this melody. My authors of the lyrics of the songs "Goryanochka" and "I don't need Kalym" are Yuri Baladzharov. Songs "Degan esharsh", "Melody of the heart" - Vakha Turpulkhanov, "ASSAdancer of love" words by Mikail Saproliev. I express my deep gratitude and words of admiration to these talented poets.
