“I am glad that this song will finally see the light of day, we worked on it for a long time,” shares Teimuraz Bojgua, “in small Georgia there are many unusually beautiful places, one of them is Samegrelo, a region in Western Georgia where Mingrelians live. They gave the name of the song. The song is performed in the Mingrelian language and tells about friendship, about human relations. About those wonderful moments when a new person appears in life with an incredible heart, upbringing, principles, a person who occupies a large place in your life, a person whom you proudly call your dear friend!
We often sing in Russian to share our warmth with family and friends without a language barrier. We tried to dedicate songs to all our friends.
The work on the track was tight, I wrote the music, and on the words we worked together with a friend, Alexander Adamia. The collective work went on with the arrangement, my son, Niko Bojgua, began to do it, but they finished it together with our dear friend Zaza Khubukelashvili.
