This holiday was established by the Decree of the Head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov in 2007.

Moreover, it is of great value for the development of society and ensuring the cultural and moral continuity of generations. It is in language that the whole nation, its whole life, history, customs and traditions, is inspired.
On this day, various events are held in the Chechen Republic aimed at preserving, developing and popularizing the Chechen language.
